If you wish to embark on a magical journey of self-development, it is essential to start with the energetic and physical cleansing of yourself. For a new life to begin, the old life must die. So say the ancient witches. This requires freeing yourself from the burdens of the past, fears, beliefs that diminish and limit you daily, negativity, and often even people who drain and pull you down. You need to rid yourself of everything that still hurts or haunts you in some way, through rituals and disciplinary techniques.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Symbolically, this is similar to Catholic baptism, letting go of the past, and opening up to the new order of the universe. But it is more than that; it is healing. We recommend this bath to clients and students of magic who want to release negative and distracting associations related to the past. Everyone who does this bath says that they feel refreshed afterward and perceive a new vitality and energy. One client told me how she saw a spirit leaving her body during the bath. This being was a man, a former lover who had left her and caused her a lot of pain. She didn't know she had been holding onto that pain until it left her in the healing water.<\/div>\n
The bath completely cleanses the body. Everything that is not good leaves.<\/div>\n
\n

The following is a modified version of a Haitian bathing ceremony. To perform this ritual, you need plants that can be found in both Europe and North America. Take a small bunch of flowers or four to five leaves or sprigs from each plant. If you don't have a bathtub, you can do this under a hot shower, rubbing yourself with the plants for an extended period.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  • Yarrow (a sacred plant of the Celtic Druids and Anglo-Saxon shamans. It can repel evil spirits)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Valerian (treats all nervous disorders, anxiety, and insomnia)<\/li>\n
  • Thyme (the word thyme means \"fumigation\"; this plant is an excellent purifier and one of the gods' favorites. According to herbalist Culpeper, this plant is also very effective at banishing the \"troublesome complainant, the nightmare,\" which shamans consider to be a spirit itself)<\/li>\n
  • Elderflower (the spirit of the elder tree protects those who treat the tree with respect)<\/li>\n
  • Sage leaves (another favorite of spirits and a sacred plant of Native Americans, whose smoke they use for purification and communication with spirits)<\/li>\n
  • St. John's Wort (long regarded as a protector against witchcraft and a banisher of harmful spirits. Its Latin name, Hypericum, means \"it has power against apparitions.\" It is also useful for overcoming fears and achieving lucid dreams, where the dreamer can communicate with spirits and the subconscious for healing and receiving guidance for the future)<\/li>\n
  • Chamomile flowers (according to an old Anglo-Saxon text, Lacnunga, chamomile is one of the nine sacred herbs given to us by the god Woden. It is a very good relaxant, promoting good sleep)<\/li>\n
  • Oats (suitable for relaxing the body, opening skin pores, and helping to relieve stress)<\/li>\n
  • Peppermint (provides mental strength and cools the mind and body)<\/li>\n
  • Fresh tree leaves and pine needles (any type of fresh tree leaves are suitable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Fill the bathtub with water as hot as you can tolerate. Add the leaves to the water. Rub each leaf between your hands to release its spirit into the water. Bless the water and ask that the spirits of the water and leaves give you energy, health, and strength, and take away the pains of the past. Ask for the strength to guide your life and dreams. Then, leave the room for fifteen minutes. Go to another room and meditate quietly before an altar on what you wish to release from your life. Ask for help with this. When you are ready, turn off all the lights in the house and light a single white candle. As you go to the bath, focus on your intention and protect the candle flame with your hand. Place the candle in a holder and enter the water. Lie quietly, allowing the water to cleanse your entire body for ten to fifteen minutes. Then press a handful of the plants against your forehead, crown, nape, inner elbows, back of the knees, and soles of your feet (these are key areas for magical attacks and spirit possession). Stand up and rub yourself from top to bottom with the plants. Repeat what you wish for the future and remain in the water for another ten minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

    When you are ready to rise, turn around three times clockwise (this is the direction of positivity and growth), quickly get out of the bath, clap your hands, and say with strong intention and willpower, \"I am healthy! I am strong! I am powerful!\" Extinguish the candle and turn on the lights. Let your body air dry naturally, allowing the leaves to stick to your skin and hair. Remove the remaining leaves from the bath and make a bundle with them and the leftover candle stub. The next day, take this bundle to a place in nature and bury it under a tree, along with an offering of thanks to the spirits of that place. Stay quiet until the evening, reflect, and try not to interact with people. Perform this bath for three consecutive evenings.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Palo Santo<\/h3>\n

    Cleansing your energy with Palo Santo smoke while visualizing the release of the past, pains, sadness, and other things you wish to cleanse is an effective way to free yourself from the bonds of the past, especially when practiced regularly. For example, it is beneficial to perform this starting from the full moon and continuing for three consecutive days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Brush your energy field<\/h3>\n
    Brush your energy field regularly with your fingers or sweep away negative energy with a feather, then surround yourself with high-vibration light. Additionally, you can cleanse your energy field with the flame of a white taper candle, passing the flame over your entire energy field. Visualize the flame acting as a purifying fire.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Releasing Energetic Cords<\/span><\/h3>\n

    It is extremely important to release the energetic cords and residues of other people from your energy field, which remain in our energy field through various interactions and exchanged emotions. Even the smallest negative emotion leaves and maintains a small energetic connection between you. Positive emotions also create connections, but they do not burden us in a negative way. Nevertheless, it is still worth cleansing yourself of positive connections from time to time to stay fully within your own energy field.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    For this, we recommend practicing the following meditation. To ensure the meditation is effective, first write down the names of individuals from whom you wish to energetically release yourself. If needed, make a long list of everyone with whom you have had a negative encounter or feel an oppressive and burdensome interaction. Thoroughly review your past and write down these individuals. You can even release people from the past. It is important to ensure that you perform the release in a very neutral state, not with anger or a desire for revenge. Otherwise, you will not release the connections but make them stronger and more painful.<\/div>\n

    During one session, release yourself from a maximum of three individuals at a time. Continue the sessions daily until you reach the end of the list. If you feel that the connection with a particular person is not easily released, repeat the process until you feel the dissolution and liberation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Exercise description\u00a0<\/strong>
    \nSit with your back straight on a chair or on the floor. Calm your body and mind with smooth, even breathing through your nose. Feel your energy field. Perform all visualizations and sensations very slowly and at a gentle pace. Do not rush, as this will only tear the energy. Move energies very smoothly and patiently. Make your energy field soft and calm. Using your sense and visualization, dissolve all heavy and negative energies in your energy field. You can also ask your guardian angels for assistance with this.<\/div>\n

    Next, visualize all the hooks and cords in your energy field and begin to unhook them one by one. If a hook doesn\u2019t release immediately, try again. The cords will fall away and dissolve, or return to where they originated. Continue this until you feel a sense of release.<\/div>\n

    Then, feel your energy field and sense how your body and mind merge into a unified energy field. Next, call the first person you wish to release in front of you. Feel the connections between you and give back EVERYTHING you have experienced and felt together. Do not pick out the good experiences from the bad ones. Return all energetic parts that belong to them. (This does not mean that you can never experience beautiful moments with them again; you still can.) Feel the particles of energy flowing from you back to them. Sit in this state for a while until you feel ready. Then, decide to take back, with respect and reverence, all the energetic particles that belong to you. Do this with kindness and feel how your life force particles, which were exchanged accidentally or intentionally, now return to you.<\/div>\n

    Then, dissolve and neutralize all the energy around and between you with light, and release them. Release them with lightness and kindness. You can then call the next person in front of you and repeat the same process. We repeat once more, each step must be very slow, smooth, patient, and intuitive. DO NOT RUSH!<\/div>\n

    You can also go through this process with the entire world. Visualize and feel all the particles that do not belong to you being released from your energy field and returning to their rightful owners. Then, call back to yourself all the life force particles you have distributed around the world. Finally, dissolve away the surrounding energy with light again. This broader application helps you reconnect with and reclaim your personal energy on a global scale, fostering a deep sense of renewal and balance within your energy field.<\/div>\n

    Magical Seasalt<\/span><\/h3>\n

    A widely used but extremely effective cleansing tip is a sea salt bath. This is particularly effective if you have been subjected to a strong energetic attack, black magic, or are being attacked by low dark entities draining your power. Take a hot bath with PLENTY of sea salt! Even better if you can find black special magical sea salt. You can also add a drop of essential oils for an enhanced effect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \"I often levitate in my dreams. In one such dream, I was in a world with a box of cosmic tools, knowing that these tools of the Creators had been stolen by enslavers. These tools were made of cosmic gold, which is slightly lighter than earthly gold and stronger than steel. I took a pure gold dagger from this box and tried to levitate with it. With tremendous effort, I managed to lift myself about 30 cm off the ground with the dagger.     This gold has a powerful cleansing and charging effect. To cleanse yourself of all foreign energies, lie down and visualize a net made of this gold above you, then let it sink through your body. The density of the net's mesh should automatically adjust to be as needed at the moment.
