Description

Magical Properties

Orishas are more than humans but not quite gods themselves. Their story begins with the Yoruba people, whose creator god was Olodumare. Orishas function as demigods or with a role similar to that of archangels.

There are hundreds of Orishas, each overseeing different aspects of nature, human endeavors, and life events. While some Orishas are well-known and widely worshiped, others are more dedicated to representing narrower aspects of life.

The Seven African Spirits are the seven most powerful Orishas. These are Elegua, Yemaya, Oshun, Shango, Obatala, Oya (sometimes Orunmila or Ochossi), and Ogun. They are truly powerful nature spirits who assist you with love, money, success, health, peace of mind, and other vital matters. Before working with the Orishas, be sure to familiarize yourself with their essence!

How to use

  • Run the bath with water as hot as you can tolerate.
  • If you don't have a bath, it is possible to perform the same procedure under a hot shower or in a sauna. In this case, you need to rub yourself with the plants for a longer time and heat your body well beforehand.
  • Sprinkle half a jar of the 7 African plant mixture into the bath.
  • Light a white candle
  • Meditate quietly in front of a mirror or altar, asking the Orishas to surround you. Focus on gratitude and respect for life.
  • Then, get into the bath and visualize your desire. Make a request to the Orishas.
  • Rub your body with the plants.
  • Hum and chant, adjusting your energy and aura field. At the same time, keep your focus on visualizing your goal.
  • When you feel the moment is right, step out of the bath and make 3 circles clockwise.
  • Let the bathwater dry naturally on your skin
  • Leave an offering of gratitude to the Orishas according to their wishes (Read from the article about the 7 African Spirits))
  • Take the plants you remove from the bath to the forest.
